Passionfoods and the Environment
We cannot continue to damage our environment and introduce genetically modified organisms (GMO's) if we are to leave earth in a state that will support life. At Passionfoods we are meticulous about the selection of the products and services we offer you: organic, chemical free, GMO free and where available 'fair trade'. We live in a society that is consuming increasing quantities of raw materials and producing mountains of waste, much of which is not biodegradeable. Add to this the continuous use of synthetic chemicals and now, genetically modified food (crop and animal GMO's) in the quest to feed a burgeoning world population. We must also stop supporting the exploitation of child and underpaid labour.
